Terminal High-speed Stamping Process Flow

High speed stamping is a process of forming metal materials, which uses a punch or die on a press to process the metal material into the desired shape in one stamping process. As an important component of connecting electrical components, the high-speed stamping process of terminals generally includes the following steps: busbar cutting, stamping forming, punching, and shaping.

Firstly, it is busbar cutting. The busbar is the raw material for stamping terminals, usually made of copper material. In high-speed stamping technology, the busbar first needs to be cut according to the required length. The cutting method can be shear cutting or cutting, by cutting the busbar into sub busbars of the required length.

Next is stamping forming. Place the sub busbar on the press of the stamping machine and use the punching die on the stamping machine for stamping forming. Stamping forming is the process of plastic deformation of busbar materials under the action of a die, resulting in the desired terminal shape. The process of stamping mainly involves the design of stamping dies and the operation of stamping machines.

Then there is punching. Terminals usually require punching holes at specific locations to facilitate connection with other electrical components. The punching method can be single hole punching, porous punching, or continuous punching, and the specific punching method depends on the design requirements of the terminal. The punching process requires setting corresponding hole positions on the punching die, and stamping the hole diameter onto the terminal through the operation of the punching machine.

Finally, there is re-shaping. After stamping and punching, it is necessary to shape the terminals to make their shape more precise and beautiful. Re-shaping can be performed by pressing, flipping, cutting, and other methods, depending on the design requirements of the terminals. The shaping process requires the use of a stamping die to further process the shape of the terminals through the operation of a stamping machine.

Overall, the high-speed stamping process includes steps such as busbar cutting, stamping forming, punching, and shaping. Through these steps, metal materials can be processed into terminals with specific shapes and functions. High speed stamping technology has been widely used in industrial production due to its high efficiency, precision, and stability.
